Neuroscience Group Names New Clinical Care Services Manager

NEENAH, WI—(Sept. 7, 2007) Cheryll Poissant, BS, REEG/EPT has been named Clinical Care Services Manager for the Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin. The announcement was made by Philip A. Yazbak, MD, FACS, president and chairman of the board of the Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin, with Poissant assuming her new responsibilities as of August 21, 2007.

The Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin provides a wide spectrum of neurological and neurosurgical services throughout NE Wisconsin. These services include surgical procedures for spine, brain and peripheral nervous system disorders, as well as care for patients with serious health care concerns like epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, headaches, non-surgical back and neck pain and multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Yazbak, commented, “ My physician colleagues and I are confident that Cheryll Poissant has the expertise to lead our clinical staff in developing and implementing the ideal patient experience. Her expertise in neurodiagnostics will help our group to develop and implement additional neurodiagnostic services and therapies.”

Before joining the Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin, Poissant served as Manager of Neurology, Neurodiagnostics and Sleep Program for The Children’s Hospital in Denver Colorado. Poissant graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Windham ME with a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Arts and is a certified administrator in Physician Practice Management, as well as a registered EEG and evoked potential technologist.
