Neenah Neurosurgeon Serves on National Panel NEENAH, WI—(April 22, 2006). Neenah neurosurgeon, Dr. Sumon Bhattacharjee, a member of the Neuroscience Group of Northeast Wisconsin, is serving on a distinguished panel of neurosurgeons at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons annual meeting in San Francisco, CA on April 22nd. The course is titled "Indications, Limitations and Complications of Transoral Approached to the Spine and Craniocervical Stabilization Techniques." The purpose of this course is to share information with other neurosurgeons on the most effective ways of performing intricate head and spine surgical procedures. Dr. Bhattacharjee is a neurosurgeon who focuses on the treatment of illness involving the brain, spine and peripheral nerves. He has extensive surgical and nonsurgical training in treating spinal deformities in adults and pediatric patients. Dr. Bhattacharjee has a special interest in managing patients with scoliosis and served a Fellowship at the University of Virginia-in Spinal Deformity and Reconstructive Surgery in 2004. The Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin provides a wide spectrum of neurological and neurosurgical services throughout NE Wisconsin. These services include care for patients with serious health care concerns like epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, headaches, multiple sclerosis, peripheral nerve diseases as well as surgical procedures for spine, brain and peripheral nervous system disorders.
