Neenah Neurosurgeon Featured in Spinal Deformities Textbook NEENAH, WI—(January 17, 2007). Neenah neurosurgeon, Dr. Sumon Bhattacharjee, a member of the Neuroscience Group of Northeast Wisconsin, served as a contributing author in the recently published text “Spinal Deformities.” Along with authors Dr. Rod. Oskouian and Dr. Christopher Shaffrey, Dr. Bhattacharjee provided input on flexible vs. fixed spinal deformities. This book serves as a multidisciplinary reference on restoring the balance and function of the deformed spine. Dr. Bhattacharjee is a neurosurgeon who focuses on the treatment of illness involving the brain, spine and peripheral nerves. He has extensive surgical and nonsurgical training in treating spinal deformities in adults and pediatric patients. Dr. Bhattacharjee has a special interest in managing patients with scoliosis and served a Fellowship at the University of Virginia-in Spinal Deformity and Reconstructive Surgery in 2004. The Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin provides a wide spectrum of neurological and neurosurgical services throughout NE Wisconsin. These services include care for patients with serious health care concerns like epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, headaches, multiple sclerosis, peripheral nerve diseases as well as surgical procedures for spine, brain and peripheral nervous system disorders.
