Neuroscience Group Adds New Associate Practitioner

NEENAH, WI—(January 10, 2008) Kristen A. Brazzale, APNP recently joined the Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin. Brazzale will be working with the neurosurgical care team of Diane Vanderlin, APNP and Philip A. Yazbak, MD, FACS.

Brazzle joins an overall care team of sixteen Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin (NSG) providers who are improving neuroscience patient care and access to neuroscience care for the communities in NE Wisconsin. The NSG physicians and associate practitioners provide a wide spectrum of neurological and neurosurgical care for problems including tumors and vascular lesions of the brain and spine, arthritic and traumatic spine conditions, epilepsy, Parkinson’s Disease, headaches, and multiple sclerosis. Linking physician and associate practitioner services together in a team approach increases the delivery of patient care, communication and education. The Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin neurosurgeons provide care at hospitals from Oshkosh to Green Bay.

Before joining the Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin, Brazzale served as a nurse practitioner with Fox Valley Nephrology Partners. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from UW Oshkosh in 1998 and her Masters of Science in Nursing from UW Oshkosh in 2004. Kristen received her nurse practitioner certification in 2005. Dr. Yazbak noted, “The Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin is recognized as the leader in both neurological and neurosurgical care in Northeast Wisconsin. As my clinical partners, nurse practitioners Kristin Brazzle and Diane Vanderlin are focused on providing the highest quality neurosurgical care.
