Weiss earns award at Mayo Conference

ROCHESTER, MN -- Steve Tyink, founder of Attach and Dr. Margie Weiss, chief executive officer and community health advocate for the Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin, were presented "Creating the Ideal Patient Experience from the Ground Up" at the recent Mayo Clinic - Quest for Quality 2007 Conference. The focus of the annual Mayo Conference, in Rochester, Minn., was "Maximizing the Patient Experience Through Safety, Innovation, and Patient Education". The presentation discussed measurement strategies, designed to show how patients are attached to health care delivery organizations.

Neuroscience Group names ex-school official as health advocate

September 7, 2005 - Appleton Post-Crescent

NEENAH -- Former Neenah-Menasha parochial school official Margie Weiss has been named CEO/community health advocate for the Neuroscience Group of Northeast Wisconsin. The announcement was made by Dr. Steven Price, president and chairman of the board of the Neuroscience Group. Weiss assumed her new responsibilities Aug. 15. Before joining the Neuroscience Group, Weiss served as president of Occupational Health Systems of Wisconsin and most recently as president of St. Mary Central High.

NEENAH -- Margie Weiss has been named chief executive officer/ community health advocate for the Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin. Prior to joining the Neuroscience Group of NE Wisconsin, Weiss served as the president of Occupational Health Systems of Wisconsin and president of St. Mary Central High School/interim president for Twin City Catholic Education System. Health care executive leads Neuroscience Group

NEENAH -- Most workers can name at least one job responsibility that they don't like. Margie Weiss may be an exception with good reason. Weiss was recently named chief executive officer and community health advocate for the Neuroscience Group of Northeast Wisconsin, assuming her duties in mid-August.. "I was fortunate enough to help craft the job description," she said.
