Chiropractic Services
A Chiropractor is a health professional concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system. Chiropractors manage patients with a variety of complaints and conditions: back pain, neck pain, upper & lower extremity injuries, headaches, disc disorders, sports, work, and personal injuries.
A Chiropractor is a primary contact professional that is complementary to medicine but with separate training and practice. Doctors of Chiropractic, often referred to as chiropractors or chiropractic physicians, practice a hands-on approach to patient management that includes patient examination, diagnosis, special studies (if indicated), and treatment.
There are three common aspects to chiropractic treatment: manual treatments (chiropractic adjustment / manipulation), prescription of preventive and rehabilitative exercise, and patient education. Chiropractors often refer patients for co-management with pain management physicians, surgeons, physical therapists and strength & conditioning professionals.
